When YOU Need a Food License
There are important timelines that you should be aware of to help you transition and plan towards meeting the new Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) requirements. The SFCR came into force on January 15, 2019 and some requirements had to be met immediately. Other requirements may apply in 2020 and 2021 based on food commodity, type of activity and business size.
